both Rock, you pass up the best player on most peoples boards, and then you blow your whole draft but picking someone that would've been there in the 2nd round. No way in hell is Matthews worth 3 picks

The question is did they give up to much and did they end up addressing their needs with their later picks and make up for the loss of two thirds.

The answer to both is probably yes to both.

5 starters is a projection down the road. I think maybe four, but the two offensive lineman aren't both going to start right away.

They got two probably right out of the gate.

When your scheduled for 9 picks entering the draft and end up with eight and only made one trade that involved picks how can that trade add up to losing more than one pick?
