With guys like Andrew Walter on Waivers, this move is fine.

That whole draft has been a disappointment though.

Really? I like Jordy Nelson, I think Matt Flynn is coming on fairly 'decent', JerMichael Finley is poised to have a breakout year and Jeremy Thompson has some flashes of goodness when on the field.

I think it's a little too soon to be saying the '08 draft is a disappointment.

I don't agree with that. He was constantly throwing high or behind his reeivers. And he didn't look even CLOSE to as good as Flynn.
To me at least, he didn't look any better then he did last year. He SHOULD have shown some drastic improvement since then.

I actually thought Brohm looked better this preseason than last year but that just shows you how woeful he was last season.

A.J. Feeley will reportedly stick with the Eagles as Michael Vick's suspension means he doesn't count towards the 53 man roster limit until his suspension is up. So there's one potential back-up off the market.

Apparently, as per Rob Demovsky , the Packers tried to trade Brohm but didn't get any takers. Hopefully that means he makes it through waivers - though I think it's unlikely. Despite his poor showing in the pre-season he's still Brian Brohm, the QB who was talked about as a possible #1 overall pick in 2007.
