So Wolf got the first interview? I wonder if that might be a sign.
New name to the list, Doug Whaley, any thoughts on him?
Trying to make a list of recent happenings:
- Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie declined to interview for the Packers GM job; which some are taking as a sign he'll still have some control of the scouting.
- Vikings blocked the Packers from interviewing their asst GM George Paton, which they can only do as long as they're still playing. Once the season is over they can no longer block (though Paton could decline).
- Lions blocked the Packers from interviewing DC Teryl Austin, which they can do as long as he's hired and he's getting many interviews.
- I believe I've read Vic Fangio becomes a FA next Tuesday and might be waiting to interview, also he's gotten a Bears head coaching interview, but it's been said they really want an offensive mind for their new starting QB.
- Lots of rumors about interior candidates but some of them are the opposite of each others, and can't tell what is or isn't true right now.
