Sorry, but I'm not buying the changed bit yet. She tried to leave during a domestic dispute, and he jumped in the back of the truck so she couldn't get away from him. Sounds like the same old Henry to me. If any charges are filed against her, you can't count on a self-defense plea.

I really get bothered by posts like this, but what the heck, I'll bite anyway.
No one is asking you if he changed or if you buy into it and no one cares either. The man passed away. You have no respect for his improvements, nor have any idea what he went through or how far he came from where he was, which you also don't know. So, you buy it, or not, I don't give a damn.
For the record, I don't know either, nor do I mean to imply as such.
It just pisses me off when people who are ignorant to someones life, are quick to discredit or discharge any resemblance of improving. Why? Because I've went through and still do every day.
Regarding jumping into the back of a pickup. No, it wasn't wise, regardless of knowing the outcome. Perhaps she was under a influence of some drug or alcohol and he was hoping by him jumping in the back, she would not continue to drive.
There's always two sides to the story and regardless of why he jumped into the back of the truck, it does NOT negate his efforts of improving his life.
