Lie? Where? I'm indicting ALL fan forums of every team.

Again, what is a lie? Were you play2win? Your response indicates a strong defense mechanism for that poster as if you're him. There's no lie above but would like to know what you believe is.

You don't take the time substantiate your claims of another member, yet expect others to go to great lengths to pick through your filibuster-length post? Throw a ton of noodles on the wall and tell someone to grab the best one so you can tell them how it is NOT the best one! Brilliant lawyer tactic.

Anyhow, what about this garbage for starters.

You can bet if I was on this forum hollering about how Aaron Jones was the best back and needed to play all I would get in return is...MM is a great football coach. He knows what he's doing.

I believe some were pining for each of the RB's over Ty Montgomery. I'm not sure anyone rebuttal with Mike McCarthy is a great coach, he knows what he's doing.

Go check out the other Packers forums. You will find many of them are very close to a cult if not an actual online version. You will see, "I think I'll go with Mike McCarthy over what you have to say". It's cute.

Wow, forum communities are a cult?? That's not egregious and offensive. Wait, it is. But, hey, it's your opinion, so that's fine.

We're going to be fine with Seneca and or Scott and now Brett because Mike McCarthy is a great QB coach and brilliant mind.

What's wrong with fans hoping for the best? I don't think anyone believes McCarthy is a great QB coach or a brilliant mind. More hyperbole.

1. The Patriots held onto Jimmy G . As long as they could.
As the trade deadline approached they were either going to have to trade him or they would not get anything for him but a comp. Pick in 2019 because Jimmy G made it clear he wanted to go somewhere and be a starter.
The only other option would be to pay him starter money to sit behind Brady. That wasn't going to happen .
2. Bellicheck contacts The 49rs letting them know JG is available.
3. 49rs offer a 2nd rnd pick.
2. Bill wants more, but 49rs hold all the cards.
3. Bill agrees to a 2nd, only if 49rs release Hoyer.

Hoyer must be released before trade deadline so comp picks are not involved and Hoyer does not have to clear waivers .

4. The trade is announced and Hoyer release is announced before trade deadline.

5. Any team who's GM is doing their due diligence is going to call and inquire about Hoyer

6. Hoyer was never going anywhere but to The Patriots! NO matter how many teams inquired about him.

The deal was always Jimmy G. for a 2nd and Hoyer.

Any other theories being thrown out on this forum is just fantasy.

Sorry, but this conspiracy theory that there is a riff between GM and HC is just a huge joke!
Nice try though.

Pretty sure Ted or someone from personal made a call, just like they probably do 10 times a day before the deadline..

Pretty sure that Mike doesn't want to hear about all of these calls, only the ones that are definitely going to effect the roster.

This one was not!
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Adams was better than Sharpe? Proof?

Same things were said of Boykin. We also had someone on this forum saying Quarless was better than Rob Gronkowski. My memory is very good and I am not a liar.

FYI it is all good, and I knew what I was doing when I said that. Some don't like statements like that. But I believe this kid is going to be special.

And really, my very first reference was just that I thought Adams looked like Sharpe. Just that he looked like him....

I'm curious. You went and dug that up for what reason? To prove that a fan can be hopeful? That a fan can make a bold prediction? Remember, this person is a fan, not a NFL Head Coach of the Packers. What is so wrong about a fan being so hopeful about a newly acquired player? You said that they said Adams was better than Sharpe. What I read was that they believed Adams would be better, meaning, it was a prediction, or projection.

And while you're at it, let's discuss how this relates to Brian Hoyer and the possible interest the Packers may or may not have had in him. I will need your assistance there because I have no idea how someone who hasn't logged into the site since August 2014 is even brought up in 2017. I'm fascinated by this obsession.

I dug it up, again...not the first time, because I've been asked for proof before. When you ask me for proof why are you asking why I dug it up? I don't lie and my memory is good.

Going after Hoyer is a huge story because it shows the org isn't sold on it's QB room. This org has as much or more doubt in Hundley as a lot of us do.

What if it was just Brian Hoyer's agent trying to get interest on his client or crank up the salary? What if that's all it was and the Packers actually did not inquire about Brian Hoyer at all? Are you going to then say how poor the Packers are running the team for not exploring any option to potential improve the roster? Do you see how frustrating this is? Nothing they do is good enough. Everything they don't do is wrong. You do like Brett Hundley, so I guess there's that one thing you like about the team, haha.

I'm totally puzzled by this continued insistence that Hoyer's agent used this stuff at all? Where is this coming from?

The Packers link to Hoyer came AFTER he'd signed with NE. So, the idea being floated that his agent used it for bargaining is a non starter.

We were interested. Can anyone just deal with that? We weren't interested in him in the sense of Jerod Powers, and he wasn't of interest to backup Hundley. He was of interest because Hundley has been terrible and org sees season slipping away. Org may actually do something if Hundley bombs again tonight. Hello, Romo?
