Our defense wasn't the major reason we lost games this last season? Wow.
I guess I was watching a different Packer game.
The Falcons marching up and down the field with no resistance, that was Aaron Rodger's fault.
Or how the Cowboys almost beat us after Aaron Rodgers gave us a good lead.
Yup....all Aaron Rodger's fault.
Wow....just wow.
Rodgers wasn't perfect (no one is) but he STILL gives us a legit shot at another Super Bowl. (If Ted can get some decent guys on defense, that is).

Cheesey is most correct, poor Defense and injuries were the story of the 2016 Packers. The CB's play was dreadful against the Leagues better quality teams. Excuses will not satisfy as some refuse to clearly see what most of us already know. The Packers have a HOF QB and a Defense that can't win the important games.

The 2017 Packers greatest need is at the CB/CB's position.

Much has happened in the last few days. Players have left and players have been added.

What do you think of the changes and what do you see happening next ?

Many who look back to GB's "Golden Decade" of the 1960's see Great HOF players on Offense. Players like Bart Starr , and Jim Taylor , or Paul Hornung . Yet too many overlook the six (6) players that are in the HOF from the GB "Defense" . They range from DT Henery Jordan and DE Willie Davis to LB's Dave Robinson and Ray Nietzsche to S Willie Wood and CB Herb Adderley .

My point, DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS !

Our draft strategy should be to put the most prolific offense the league has ever seen on the field. Then you play defense with a lead most of the time, in which you play for turnovers.

I've given up hope on ever having a top 5 defense. Not when it takes you five years to find a couple guys with the potential to be decent inside linebackers, and then 2-3 years developing them. Just fucking crazy how Ted Thompson goes about things. Then, you let Tramon, House, and Hayward walk thinning out your CB position so that your veteran is a player with a concussion history. Just poor GM work.

No, go with huge offense and opportunistic defense, and you'll have a better chance at success.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
