The play was a 4 yd gain, better that then Hawk whiffing and Harvin somehow gets through Hyde for a big gain.

1st drive of the game for Seattle, Packers stopped them next series, but then there was the roughing penalty on the punt.

Try taking a look at the big picture, not isolating this play and that play.

Hawk can be serviceable, yes. But he is a problem for the Packers defense. Several other players are problems, too, but Hawk is most certainly one of them, and has been for a while. He can be decent at times, but he's far too often below average. The Packers defense can only be so good with Hawk as an inside linebacker. He can look better with more superstars all around him, but who wouldn't? No matter how anyone here wants to put it, the Packers need an improvement over Hawk and several other players on this defense.
