You are seeing what you want to see, not what actually happened.

No sense arguing about it.

You keep hammering Hawk, it's your right.

Not as difficult on the field for some as it is for others. Hawk is one of those that it's more difficult for I agree.

He can look better with more superstars all around him, but who wouldn't? No matter how anyone here wants to put it, the Packers need an improvement over Hawk and several other players on this defense.

And Hawk didn't put himself in position?

He did exactly what he should have done.

The play was a 4 yd gain, better that then Hawk whiffing and Harvin somehow gets through Hyde for a big gain.

1st drive of the game for Seattle, Packers stopped them next series, but then there was the roughing penalty on the punt.

Try taking a look at the big picture, not isolating this play and that play.

It is also worse than a huge third and one stop that could of changed the game.

I am looking at the big picture. You look at it as only a 4 yard gain while I look at it as a first down that keeps a drive going. This wasn't just a 1st and 10 on their own 20 yard line.

Everyone gets pissed off because the Packers can't beat the elite teams. If Packers are going to beat Seattle these are the type of plays that they need to make.

The pro Hawk crowd...I just don't understand them...

Michael Rodney @PackerUpdate · Sep 11
FWIW, @PFF rated Hawk and Jones as the two worst ILBs in the NFL in week 1.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Hawk is past his prime, as short as that might have been. Serviceable. Haha. You forgot workmanlike. I think that was a line from an old SNL skit. It was the king and I and Phil Hartman's character assuming the role that Yule Brenner made so popular. Any way he reacts to the reviews of his performance and they sound like what a lot of people think of Hawk.

We know the teams that have ILBs the less fortunate team's would love to have. Yeah I'm jealous as I'm sure a lot of you guys are, but we have to work with what we got. I'll just say I'm glad we didn't get Shazier in the draft. That guy doesn't look too great. Anyway, we'll see how Lattimore does tomorrow. And hopefully Hawk doesn't slide too much further downhill this year because I think it has already started.
