I know most of the community here will call for Dom Capers head, and while I don't think he should necessarily be fired, today really made me think about what the man really has up his sleeves.
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were right, Capers has been doing all he can possibly do with a lack of talent. It was already enough to have Matthews and Jolly on the sideline, but it got progressively worse with Sam Shields, arguably our best corner, and Mike Neal leaving.
When we had to re-align to the 4-3, they seemed to get a lot of good pressure against the Niners offensive line--and those guys are huge.
I'm not saying we should go back to the 4-3, but it should at least be a wrinkle. The Patriots run both under Belichick, and Capers was nothing but an advisor there before coming here to take over.
I know what I'm saying won't cause anything to happen, but I must say I liked what I saw when I saw it.
