Dietrich-Smith injury presents challenge for Packers offensive line

The Green Bay Packers’ offensive line turned in its worst performance of the season in a blowout loss to the Detroit Lions on Thursday, and hope for better days could depend on the health of center Evan Dietrich-Smith.

Dietrich-Smith injured his knee late in the first half, which forced the Packers to play musical chairs along the line.

You really are a dumb fuck aren't you? lol

The point is, keep Lang at G, where he can actually get it done. Dude's playing at a high level, when he's at G. We need that. When he's at C he's not even as good as Patrick Lewis. lol

Not having a backup C is as bad as not having a backup QB imo.

The whole line next year is looking great. It was great this year till Barclay got hurt.

Next year projected line?

LT: Bulaga

RG: Sitton

C: EDS

LG: Lang

RT: Bak

If we can find some backups for our interior guys I think we can have a pretty good line. Barclay and Sherrod should be the favorites to backup next year at each tackle postion. We find someone to backup Sitton and Lang we can be good to go. Don't know how Tretter will be at Center, but he could back there up too.

I hate this damn OL musical chair shit. It ruined my boy Daryn Colledges career!!!

Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy
