I don't know how much of you guys saw his name on Sportscenter, but I go to USI (where Jeron Lewis attended). Lewis died Thursday night after he collapsed in a basketball game (looks to be because of an enlarged heart). He was only 21 years old. Also, he and his fiance just had a baby that was born last month. It is really such a sad and tragic story.

My roommate plays on the basketball team and I know he is in a lot of pain over this. But I just wanted to share with some of you guys. This really shows how fragile life is. It really hit me hard as I had just seen him Wednesday coming out of a class just smiling and joking around with another guy. Another reason was I have just become a believer in Christ and this death seems so unfair.

At any rate, I want to ask you guys for your prayers and thoughts to go out to his family, friends, teammates, coaches, and all loved ones. Thanks a lot guys.

Yes, life is fragile. I've always said enjoy it while you can because you never know when it will be snuffed out of you. Life isn't fair either.

i saw this on the news but thank you for giving us a window into his life. such a sad ending to a young life.

That's sad.
Most young people don't expect something like this. They think it only happens to old people. It shows that NO ONE knows how long they have, and every day is precious.
