LOL. You mean you believe the teachers union has the right to take food off your table so they can retire with full pay and benefits at age 55?

I don't see any teachers and public employees throwing money at me so I can have a free ride.

Just because I don't want to pay 60% markup to a thief selling retail (you call them businessmen) do I get to just pay him what I think is fair, or do I have to pay his price?

But if corporations can just shitcan people in the eleventh hour of their careers and bypass paying people's pensions, then I guess it would technically be a legal thing to do. But is it right?

Is it that important for the top 10% to keep lining their pockets off the misery of the masses?

If I was not in one of these unions, I would be pretty pissed that my tax money was being used in this borderline bribe/redistribution setup. I would probably say that it is great to tear up such an unfair contract.

This shit has been going on since the beginning of time. There are people who live by their conscience and live the right way. And then there are those who cheat, lie, and steal their way through life.

For every person that earned all of their wealth there are 10 that gained their wealth by either inheritence or by doing shady crap. Thankfully, Wade assures me there is a God and will be a judgement day to make everthing right.

And yet we keep on voting for candidates that want to "fix" the tax code by adding new taxes for the wealthy or tax breaks for other people. Tell me, if the system is rotten and ridiculously complex, why don't we hear anybody - Democrat or Republican seriously pressing for simplification of the tax code? Besides the fact that they'll piss off a bunch of people because thousands of accountants and tax professionals will lose their jobs. Another example of how politics gets in the way of solutions. It's not a perfect solution but it sure beats more of the same old and piling more code on top of the existing beast.
