Can't say that Barrett is the most outstanding option, but Walker is about as lying, thieving, low-down, snake in the grass, that you are ever likely to encounter.
Walker gives freakin' weasels a bad name.

But that is up to the people of Wisconsin...... or is it?

This is what Wisconsin residents should be concerned with....

Pretty useless graph there. What's next, Packers for Champions vs Fans of Vikings?

Scott Walker isn't a liar. I seen it on TV, so it has to be true.

You wouldn't perceive him as lying or thieving if he claimed such kickbacks was for the benefit of the workers, would you?

Personally I do not care what you Wisconsin residents choose, it is your state.

Porforis, I have read many of your posts and you are a sharp young guy with a damn fine head on your shoulders.
But does it not concern you as a Wisconsin resident that so much outside influence is promoting Walker?

Wisconsin’s airwaves have been filled with political ads largely funded by out-of-state money.

"Since the start of the year, Wisconsin has added thousands of new jobs.” – Gov. Scott Walker in a TV ad.

It’s true that Wisconsin has added several thousand net jobs in the first few months of this year. But when you look at Walker’s entire time in office, including last year, Wisconsin has lost 14,200 jobs, and ranks dead last among the states in job creation.

“Barrett’s city has one of the worst graduation rates in the country.” — Friends of Scott Walker TV ad.

It’s true that in 2008, an education research center ranked Milwaukee’s graduation rate 42nd out of the 50 largest districts in the country. But it’s also true that the city’s graduation rate has improved significantly during Barrett’s years as mayor.

..........and more

Scott Walker is nothing more than a puppet.
But it is your state, so do as you will.

But if you keep Walker, may God have mercy on your souls, for the Koch brothers and their ilk will own your ass.

I posted this link earlier in this thread, as I pointed out there the timing of this release is obviously political, but there's nothing but venom being spouted from Barrett's crowd. Again, I don't pretend to know anybody's intentions but the level of supervillianry people seem to attribute to Walker based on associations, lack of context and where he gets his financial backing seems kind of excessive and unbelievable. And I'm not one to be particularly impressed with the moral fortitude of any politician.

Policy-wise, I'd probably consider myself neutral on Walker. However, I find the timing of, and justification for the recall to be questionable at best. I'm against the recall because I do not think it improves our political situation as a whole, helps our state, or that Barrett is going to do any better for the economy than Walker will. Say what you will about ho-hum job creation numbers and routinely taking one extra step too far to the right, but do you honestly think Barrett would have done much better or even shrunk our debt a little bit?

Vikes rule is typical lib. All comments on Walker reduce to name-calling. If you disagree with a liberal, you are a racist, an idiot or sexist. If that doesn't work then look for a way to censor the opponent.

I really only have point to say about this cherry-picked graph from Vikesrule. The whole country is interested in what happens in Wisconsin. It is one of many battle grounds of those that believe in capitalism versus those that believe in social utopia. When I was 13, I pondered the idea that socialism might be a good form of government. Then I grew up.

News flash for the anti-capitalists. Corporations are not bad. For me personally, I feed my family and have a roof over my head because I work for a corporation. It used to be that this was the norm. Almost all of the jobs that this country supplies should be from private industry. A country cannot sustain itself on state-funded jobs. I personally believe any government job should be a career where one sacrifices salary for the opportunity to serve the public because the funding comes from the taxpayer.
