I was wondering if it was beyond the realgm of possibilty here that all these suspended players may have taken the banned substance in addition to the Star Caps? I don't believe Kevin Williams has a weight problem, but it isn't too much of a stretch for me to believe he was masking steroids. Now Pat Williams, I have no problem believing needs diet pills.

Wouldn't surprise me that Kevin Williams used it to actually mask something. Pat Williams, I'm sure didn't use StarCaps to cover something up.

I can't find it at the moment, but I read somewhere that neither of the Williams tested positive for anything more than StarCaps.

And by failure of proof that either one had taken performance enhancing or illegal drugs, they are innocent in that aspect. Period.

How do you get around the positive test for the illegal drug, when so many previous players have sat out their suspensions? The NFL sure would opening up a road they don't want to travel. Ignorance is never a good defense in a courtroom. I think their argument is weak.

The NFL is probably going to have to go into Federal Court sometime between tonight and Sunday to prevent the Williams' boys from playing. See my previous post. This has got to be the brainstorm of Chilly! I don't get why they want to prolong the agony. Say they get in the playoffs, do they want to sit out then? I think the NFL has already given the Vikings enough presents letting those boys play agains the Bears and Packers.

Yeah. It's retarded.

We'll see how their defense plays without those two manimals.

This is just a buying time move.. one that very well could back fire on the Vikes if it only gets delayed a short period of time..

Do playoff games count in the suspensions?

Either way, the NFL team of lawyers will have this reversed rather quickly.. maybe not in time for Sunday, but if the Vikes need the Williams to beat Detroit they have bigger problems.

Gotta give them credit though, they are going down fighting on this.. losing battle I think but who knows.
