Packers to the 5th seed?

I'm not sure if this is true or not but it might be....

I've read that if the Cowboys lose to the Chargers that means the Packers will be in the NFC's 5th seed at the end of the week no matter what happens in the other 15 games... :magnifyglass: anyone gonna root for the Chargers this week? ... GO CHARGERS :thumbright:

The thought is that if the Cowboys lose then the winner or the Eagles vs Giants game becomes the division leader and the Packers will have a better record than the Cowboys and/or have the head to head tie breaker over the Cowboys.

The only other way for the Packers to get in the 5th seed this week is Packers beat the Bears AND the Giants beat the Eagles.

I was going for the Chargers anyways because of my high dislike of the Cowdung. :thumbright:

When it comes down to it I am not worried about the Cowboys. Their remaining schedule is sick and they way they play in December does not bode well for them.

I say Philly will end up winning the east.

Woo lets go Chargers, I think at seasons end we will be the 5th seed even if the Cowboys win.

A week ago, I was thinking that it wouldn't matter whether the Packers were the #5 seed or the #6 seed, but with the Cardinals looking so good last week, it could be significant. They looked better than any team in the East, and if they continue to roll, they will most likely be the #3 seed.

Mostly I'm just worried about the Packers getting to ten wins, though.
