RUMOR: Joe Haden to Packers for 5th round??

Saw somewhere on the Facebook that PFF is saying Joe Haden is going to be traded to the Packers for a 5th round pick. Personally, I cannot find anything supporting this and think it's hogwash. If Packers couldn't take on Stephon Gilmore contact, how can they (hypothetically) take on Joe Haden's?

The trade: Haden and a 2022 seventh-round pick for a 2022 fifth-round pick.

"The Packers did invest their first-round pick in former Georgia cornerback Eric Stokes, but if they're serious about a deep playoff push for the #LastDance, an addition may be necessary to contain the NFC playoff contenders loaded with receiving weapons," PFF writes. "Haden has a solid 64.0 coverage grade in his 12th NFL season, but after seeking an extension this offseason that Pittsburgh declined to offer, perhaps both sides can get a jumpstart on their 2022 offseason."

I'm more surprised at the fact that Joe Haden is still in the league. I suppose if the Steelers ate his contract the deal could be made.

Doubtful rumor.

A few days ago it was Haden to the Cowboys.

I think this is just someone publicly thinking of potential trade scenarios.

Be warned if the Packers trade a 5th round pick or CB Joe Haden, Beast will be bitching more than normal, because it will make no damn sense to pass over CB Stephon Gilmore for a 6th round with a very similar one year contract... and you might get a stronger Comp pick in return than Haden would...

Hell if Gilmore can only get a 6th (which if he plays well, might get you a 4th round comp pick in FA), then how is Haden costing a 5th?

Gilmore is on the PUP, but rumor is he's healthy now (I can't confirm said rumor).
