Fire his ass... Fire the whole damn coaching staff.

Bring in a new staff right now!

This team is 6-4 Will be 7-4 on Thursday.

Right after Thanksgiving is the perfect time for a complete house cleaning.. The new staff will have and extra three days of preparation before the next game to turn this thing around.

It is disgusting. Part of the blame has to go on Aaron, D.D. and Jennings as well. They have the responsibility to score more often in the second half. Get rid of them too. Start with Aaron. Cut his ass on the same day they fire Mike. He has always been a M.M. type of guy. Makes me sick.

6-4 Freaking sick....

While it's nice to be above .500, I really get tired of the "We're doing ok! No reason to attack what's preventing us from being better!" and "We're 20 points ahead, don't complain about playcalling! Oh, we're ahead 13. That's okay, still doing good. Okay, up 6. Still winning, no reason to change what we're doing" attitudes.

Do some people overreact? Yes. Anybody that thinks Mike McCarthy should be fired in the middle of the season is insane. However, playcalling (amongst other things, obviously) has hurt this team this year, as well as last year. Regardless of if we're 0-10 or 10-0, why shouldn't we be able to complain about things that are consistently losing us games or preventing us from putting them away without things getting way too close to comfort?

Porforis speaks for me here. Even if we were 10-0, it would bother me if we were winning ugly week after week; I'd be concerned that we'd lose at precisely the wrong time.

Who cares if you go 16-0 if you lose to the Wildcard in the Super Bowl?

I reckon I look at things a little different then.

My Bad.....

The way I figure it is, I am going to lay my head on my pillow tonight proud to be a Packer Fan, happy to be 6-4 and leading the NFC wild card race, I reckon I am going to savour a victory, and not have my thinking become stinking.... on the day of a victory because the Packers did not win by 30 points.

I am not saying I do not appreciate your concerns... I am just making a point that the Packers won. Have a winning record. Are leading the NFC Wild Card race. And all this happened hours ago.

Perhaps Tuesday is the day to start worrying about this shit, and now is the time to savior the moment.

yep - i don't recall mccarthy ever having the "go for the jugular" attitude.

it's always the "what can we do to keep the lead & take as much time off the clock".

one of the things he & i disagree on. lol.

Well 4Pack - I'm in your camp. I like to completely annihilate a team and make sure they're dead. At 23-3 with a half to play, the Niners weren't dead.

That's a great point Zombie. Especially with THIS team. You know, how they're prone to ugliness and disaster at times?
How many times are we going to blow games or nearly blow games?

Bitch, bitch, bitch. Whine, whine, whine. Guess what? The Niners played better in the second half. Those TD's by Crabtree and Davis were well-covered, but the throws were perfect and both receivers made nice plays.

There was nothing wrong with the playcalling in the second half, except for the goofy empty backfield on first-and-ten at the SF 40, which resulted in a sack and kept us out of field goal range. That was not an overly conservative call, it was an overly aggressive one.

Oh, losing two of our best defensive players may have had something to do with the SF comeback as well.

It's true that the Pack did not put them away as quickly as they should have, but it's also true that when the Niners got within six points with nearly six minutes left to play, their offense never saw the field again. The Packers picked up one first down after another and bled the clock dry. Not much to bitch about there, but given some time, maybe you guys can come up with something.

Personally, I'm happy we won. The majority of my anger at Mike McCarthy was exclusively during the game, the only thing that makes this game bittersweet for me right now is the injuries. In exchange for a health Harris and Kampman, I would give up this game (providing that the Giants would have lost).

I do get too caught up in the game sometimes and let anger and frustration spill out into the forums afterwards. I think we all need to take a step back and decide what's worth complaining about, and when.

Seriously, why Harris? ;_;

My only issue with the 2nd half was not knocking their receivers around at the line of scrimmage. Smith was able to drop back and fire in a comfortable rhythm because there was no bump.
Other than that, we just had some missed plays and they were playing with a "nothing to lose" looseness.
