GraveDigga, you're comment (you know which one) is making me consider suspending people for bringing up that bullshit. You might be the first casualty if it continues.

It's obvious the Packers have talent, at least I think so because we're able to play dominate games at times. I think consistency needs to come from coaching.

Ok, now i see which comment. Look, he's not the godfather. I don't have to kiss his ring. I don't have to pledge my loyalty to him. You think the problem is coaching. you think this team has the talent to dominate. Fine, i'm glad you have faith. I don't have that faith. I see a team with great talent other than an o-line which is hamstringing every aspect of our offense. Limiting our options, our playcalling and risking players safety. I see a pro bowl d-lineman who is lost out there trying to play linebacker because we didn't trade him. I see underacheivers in our front 7 and I see a GM who doesn't seem to know how or want to fix the problem.

But go ahead, ban me if you like. It is your site and you can choose to have people on it who think just like you. I realize this is serious business that must be taken seriously all the time and jokes should not be tolerated. I agree. Ban him!!

You think the Packers have great talent other than the OL? Yet, you want Ted gone? (I'm asking, not implying)

I too think that it's time to end the Kampman to OLB experiment. Think he could be efficient as a end in the 3 - 4 or is he too small?

Furthermore, I find it quite funny that 90% of the forum now believe McCarthy needs to be fired. "Some on here" were saying this for a long, long time and were given shit for it and called fair weather fans and Favre lovers and other shit like that. I think it's really funny to see how people opinions change........just like that over a two week period. Even the most die hard Mike McCarthy/Ted Thompson supporters over the past few years now believe he needs to be fired immediately.

I imagine that one day, people on here will be calling for Ted Thompson's resignation, citing some of the issues that "some people" bring up and have been bringing up for a long, long time. But hey, maybe that day will never come. Who am I to question an NFL GM anyway. I may as well just not have an opinion and hope for the best.

It's not funny. It's what happens when you aren't a negative nancy to everything that doesn't happen your way. You try to root for the team, the players, the coaches, etc ... but when you get disappointed over and over and over again. It wears on you.. Packers fan's are somewhat forgiving and understanding. And when Packers fans are collectively wanting the coach gone, there's a problem. The coach.

I'm not saying you're wrong with your opinion and desire to have ted and mike canned. I just don't understand why you feel you deserve a pat on the back for wanting this for years and now others are joining you. It's not like you knew what you're talking about. There's 31 losing gm's and hc's a year. SO being pessimistic, the odds are in your favor.

Those who are calling for Mm to be fired (and may call for the same treatment for Thompson in the future) are doing so as a reaction to the play of the team this season and not to a single personnel decision made two years ago. There's a fairly big difference.

As for Thompson, he's put a lot of good-to-great players on the team - if he does as he should do and concentrates on the offensive line in the offseason, I certainly won't be calling for his head.

But I'll tell you what: Since it appears to be so important to you, you were right about McCarthy. Yay for you!

Honestly, there is hardly any arguing on this site at all any more, at least from what i've seen. Nothing wrong with people expressing their opinions and disagreeing. Attacking forum members should be held in check. Attacking certain people associated with the team should be no problem for the most part. Man, if we all agreed on everything, we'd have nothing to talk about.

As for Kampy, I really don't know. I think he could be decent as a 3-4 d-lineman but his true calling is in the 4-3 and his value would he high at that position if we explore a trade. I'm guessing we could get a mid/late 1st round draft pick for him. We get 2 dominant lineman, a tackle and guard, one more stout DE and a playmaker in the backfield and this team would have almost no weaknessess next year on offense. Better able to run the ball, more efficient passing, chew up more clock to help our defense out even more. Teams would be playing from behind more and we could bring the heat, more turnovers, etc, etc, etc. We would be similar to the Oilers of the early 90's except hopefully more consistent on offense.

I actually don't think he's that bad either. I just think he's too stubborn in the playcalling for his own good. It might be admirable (in a weird Quixotic sense) that he is so intent on imposing the system he believes in, but it's blowing up in his face and imperiling his job. I think he should pass off playcalling duties to someone else who is in better touch with the idiosyncrasies of the players and focus on overall oversight of the team. I think that might be his strength.

Either that or (heaven forfend) he needs to trade away Aaron Rodgers for a quarterback who better fits his system.

I'd hate to trade a guy like Kampman. I'm glad we didn't trade him last off season because we'd probably collected more draft picks. I'm kind of worn tired of the draft picks. I want some veterans on our team that can guide our youth movement.

To your other post. We've heard the same thing from mm over and over again. Same speech, same results, nothing is improving. I think they are regressing. Our special teams is getting worse each year. How is that possible when we trimmed so many good players to help out our special teams?

Well, I suppose we'll all see soon enough. I certainly agree that we lack talent along the o-line, but other than that and maybe safety I don't see any big lack of talent. A team without talent would look horrible all the time, and that's not the case. Inexperience can be mitigated with good coaching.
