I wholeheartedly agree with you; that's why I'm not calling for Ted Thompson's head. I think there is a ton of talent on this team. When this team is playing well, it looks spectacular. It's not that I think the coaches aren't coaching well enough -- they seem to be actually hamstringing their players. Mike McCarthy refuses to game plan in a way that caters to his offense's strengths and Dom Capers repeatedly plays soft and tentative in crucial situations.

I don't know why our coaches won't let these guys loose to play ball.

I know I'll get laughed at for this.

I think we have the TALENT to be a good team.

No laughing here. While there are some obvious areas that need improvement in terms of personnel (i.e. OL), there are ways to deal with some of that from the standpoint of planning and play calling. I really don't understand why Special Teams are so "special". The roster is plenty big enough to have guys available who are really GOOD at that. Where is the desire to do it, or the coaching to make it happen?

I don't know if we have the talent to be a top tier team yet, but certainly have more talent than this season's results have shown.

And because of that...Thompson should go too. He SHOULD have the best interests of the Green Bay Packers in his mind, but he doesn't. His ego gets in the way of that. He needs to go.

I know i'm not really objective but just look at the facts. After last season, we had a glaring weakness at o-line. Everyone knew this team was going nowhere till that was fixed. The problem was not addressed in a suitable way.

Some might say, well, we need to let our guys develop or see what they had. No. Our guys don't have the physical talent to overcome their inexperience. Anyone who didn't foresee this wasn't paying attention. Many here have seen it coming for more than 2 or 3 years. How can Ted Thompson justify wasting an entire year by not addressing the o-line? Either he's stubborn and he should be fired or he's incompetent by not realizing the extent of the problem and should be fired.

🇱🇮Worst O-Line in the NFL[/li]
🇱🇮Still no run game[/li]
🇱🇮A QB with an all-or-nothing attitude[/li]
🇱🇮BAD playcalling[/li]

What exactly do we have....

Another situation where the D was hung out to dry. You give teams the ball on their 8 and 20 yard lines, you can't expect your D to hold up in those situations.

My opinion of Gruden nosedived after listening to him brown nose Brett for 3 hours during the MNF game.

Cowher would seem like a nice fit, but as you say, don't know that he would come in.

If we're going for big available names to stew over: Herm Edwards, Holmgren, Shannahan. Not saying I want any of them, but 3 options

I was thinking Cowher, but he doesn't run the WCO. Maybe Shanahan would be better. The Rat!

Shanahan or Gruden; at least they won't tolerate the hideous mistakes made over and over again.

Jagodzinksi is available, btw. If they shitcan Campen, I could definitely see them going after Jags. Doesn't seem to be a real popular guy anywhere else, though.
Jags is the zBS guru.

Gruden would be my pick. Rodgers fits his system and yeah he kissed ass to Favre, but why not, Favre is playing out of his mind right now and Gruden keeps in touch with him.

I think Gruden is a perfect fit for a young team and most importantly, Green Bay. I think it's a match made in heaven.

Unfortunately, we'll probably have to deal with this again next year.

What's so great about Chucky? I don't think the Packers could afford him, but isn't he also more of a "players coach?" He melted down in Tampa.
