this is Ted Thompson team. his coach, his players, he needs to go now!

that's great for the 100,903 time. Now when are you going to say something that counts as a contribution to the discussion on this matter? For instance, who you feel we should have replace tt? I'm more interested in that than the constant whining about who should be gone.

I think we all agree, someone needs to be gone, maybe Mark Murphy needs to clean house.

The real question. Who do we use to replace whomever is let go?

Oh, and for all you guys clamoring for the return of Mike Holmgren as GM, please tell me exactly what he has accomplished as an NFL GM. Before you pipe up with "The Seahawks made it to the Super Bowl," you might want to pause a bit and remember who was in charge of personnel acquisition for the squad that made it there.

Trade Kampman. He's not an OLB and we could pursue another Mathews-esque player.

Use high draft picks on tackles. Have T.J Lang at LG instead of Colledge, Spitz in centre and Sitton and RG making a pretty big middle to help the run game. Hope to god your drafted Tackles turn out to be any good cause you know that Ted won't pursue anyone in F.A (if anyone's out there that is). Get shot of James Campen and get a veteran O-Line coach to take his place. Look at a potantial upgrade at RB (again not likely as Ted doesn't do big F.As).

Look at handing the playcalling to someone else. ....

Oh hell this is too hard, we're just so bad at the moment.

I have doubts that Kampman would be traded for a high draft pick. Guy is going to be 30 at the end of the month. Plus, even when his hand is on the ground, he's still not generating much of a pass rush. Who would give up more than a 2nd for him?

I love the guy and think he's Packer People through and through, but it may be a 4th or 5th round choice at best in return for him.

I think he is getting a great push when he has his hands down. Problem is, they only have his hands down he is damn near lined up over a WR. It takes to long for him to get to the Olineman to start with. Then when he does get the guy pushed into the QB, they are in the huddle. Need to get him with his hand down, lined up tight to the line, not split out. I don't care if we are telegraphing his assignment. Rush him every play except 1 or 3

+1.

I see Holmgren going to the Browns. They need a guy like him. Someone who can evaluate talent to a certain level and, mainly, is great for PR.

Remember that Holmgren is not the one who brought most of these players in. It was Ron Wolf. Yes, even Favre. He had a hand in luring Reggie White here, but he has no great resum at GM.

I'm hoping that we're going with a new coach and that we'll just keep Thompson. I feel that, if we get a HC with a stronger personality, he'll go after Ted a bit and free agent spending will go up. Couple that with his good drafting and cap management, and we're looking really good, management-wise, all of a sudden.

Agreed. There has to be a shake up if only to fire up this team. Wow talk about shooting yourself in the foot to get a loss. Its as if this team wanted to lose.

Special Teams execution was a joke. The blocking on the blocked punt was sad. They parted in the middle of that line like a knife against butter. Sad.

The team has loss its discipline and it shows. McCarthy has to go. NOW. Today is already too late to act on it. The Packers played like TB was supposed to play but the roles got reversed somehow.

As to who we should REPLACE McCarthy with I believe its obvious. JON GRUDEN this young team needs some serious discipline and direction, Gruden is the master of both. We have the talent we just arent executing. The O-Line might as well be drunk the way they have been blocking.

FIRE: McCarthy HIRE: Gruden

Maybe if we are lucky, and get enough Fire this bum talk in the news outlets everywhere, maybe the team will rally ala Tom Coughlin and we can win games.

Unlike Coughlin though, we need to follow through with the firing of McCarthy after the season.

Ted also needs to dip into the free agency pool and add some veteran leader type players. More leaders are needed on this team. In the glory days, there were lots of leaders...now, there seems to be none.

I completely agree. Rodgers is a decent leader but its hard to listen to someone who's on his back more often than he's standing during games. We need some serious leaders only problem is not sure who's really out there for that. The O-Line needs an anchor just not sure theres anyone out there that we can pick up. The D seems to be ok just our Free Safety are NOT play makers...

Leaders on a team cannot be underestimated.
