Am i the only one who felt more confident with brandon jackson in the backfield than grant? (I know hes sidelined..)

If he could hold onto the ball, he'd get more.

Grant would be a good running back for a team that will give him 20 touches a game or more.

A RB in McCarthy's scheme needs to be one of those rare guys who can get 10-15 touches and average 10+ yards a touch. Problem is there's not many of those backs out there.

Grant always was a guy who would get around 3 yards. But then he'd have one or two long runs that would vastly inflate his average. And change the game. He hasn't been getting those long runs. Maybe it's the Oline. Maybe he's not getting enough carries. Maybe he's lost it.

My problem with Grant has to do with yards after contact, in which he must be the worst in the league. He goes down too easily for a north - south runner. I know we will never get the exciting reverse the field runs from him, but dammit, break some tackles once in a while, Ryan.

And maybe work on catching the ball.

I wish we had kept Sutton too so we could have started the season with Grant and Sutton with 3 FB's. That would not have got the ire of fans, not at all. I am down with cutting Wynn and promoting Lumpkin. I've had it with Wynn. At least this week. Maybe next week I'll want him to have 20 carries? lol (waffle!)

Just because he's a bigger back doesn't mean he'd be a good FB.

Why would we cut Kuhn when he's our most valuable FB on offense and the most consistent???

Wynn has more power, speed, explosiveness, is able to pick up the blitz. All of the above.
