We are getting far more sophisticated. Jerry Kramer used to tell the opposing defense we were running our sweep and there is nothing they could do to stop it.

We are practically CIA operatives in comparison. 😆 As a fellow sod-buster from Wisconsin, I like to keep things simple.

(To the younger generation, a sod-buster is virtually identical to a red-neck, but has no hills. )

We still do self-effacing humor here, or no?

In the end I don't suppose it matters what the audible or hand signals are. You can call it "elephant" or "Montana" or "Fred" it is not the word but the formation that is the key.

I'd say it wasn't hard for Philbin to watch tapes and see the new audible signals and subsequent play, and then match those with the calls used while he was the OC with the Packers.

Based on some of the jumps the d-linemen were getting, it definitely looked like they knew the snap count Rodgers was using as well.

When you see the play clock down to :02 it doesn't take any special telepathy to know when the ball is gonna be snapped lol. My thought is anyone saying Joe Philbin knowing the audibles or what have you, I think is a poor excuse.
