It's character building to overcome adversity, not to spot the other team 20 points. Mike doesn't know the difference.

Please, enlighten us all as to what the difference is? And be sure to use the word "lull" at least a half-dozen times, ya jackass.

The point of character-building in this game is the fact that they dug themselves in an enormous hole, clawed back to put the game in reach before half, and then made the most plays in the second half.

Down 21-3 and all you can do is pull out your most classic (and eternally predictable) trope: Mike McCarthy stinks.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Character building to get down on a really crappy Jets team and barely come back to win. Okay.

In other news, Phillip Rivers and the Chargers threw on Richard Sherman and were NOT afraid.
They also didn't prepare all offseason either.

Last I checked, Keenan Allen was not a better receiver than Jordy or Cobb.

McCarthy...Rodgers...STEP IT UP.

Time will tell how good the Jets are.

And I say again ... the "character building" point is about clawing back from an 18 point deficit. Why is that hard to understand?

And as far as the Seahawks-Chargers -- The debate will and should continue with regard to how Seattle is just a totally different team at home. Seriously. Look at the wins and losses over the last few years.

I actually addressed this in another thread a few weeks back. It's pretty much unfounded.

We'll put out a good defense when we go against slow quarterbacks.

But against the fast guys, we're gonna look like all the time.

Even watching the Bears as they bounced back last night (makes me gag talking about it) they had gap control. Guys hitting the right gaps and keeping contain for the most part. Packers defense has 2, sometimes 3 or 4 guys trying to run through the same gap. It just doesn't make sense.

I am still waiting for the game where the Packers come out firing on all cylinders. Seems like something they continually lack, like they just aren't ready to play. Yesterday was a huge win and I am glad they were able to dig deep to earn it but they shouldn't have to do that to beat a team like the Jets.

rofl, just re watched the 4th down TD that got stopped from the time out. Matthews wasn't in the game, we sent AJ Hawk off the edge and Mike Daniels dropped into coverage... I wish we would just stop this stupid shit and line our guys up and play football.

The next play they converted the 4th down but he had to do it with Daniels and Matthews right in his face.
