Was the SB played in SEATTLE? 🤔

That'a a toughie. So, your comment of Seattle being nothing outside of playing in Seattle loses everything when you consider they romped Denver in NEW JERSEY which is NOT SEATTLE. You don't have to be very bright at all to comprehend that.

I'm rewatching some of the game, we were actually fairly stout up the middle against the run specifically Daniels and Boyd. Most of their bigger run plays came off of an edge defender losing contain (Matthews on their 1st TD and the long read option-pitch play and Peppers had a few bad ones too). A couple decent runs up the middle when we had 1 DL. Guion doesn't look quite as bad as I thought but he still gets put on skates more than anyone else on the line and never does anything noteable as far as beating his guy.

When Sherrod gets his hands on the defender right he can swallow them up. Most of the times I'm seeing him get beat is when he gets his hands swatted down. I don't know much about playing o-line but that seems to me like a correctable issue. He's not just out there getting his butt beat or anything just with keeping hands on the guy on speed moves.

AJ Hawk and Lattimore both making some good aggressive tackles. We still don't have a good cover guy at that position though.

A 3rd and 3 play where we might have gotten a sack but Geno threw it last second to a Jets player in the flat that had nobody around him looked to be on Tramon. He ran over to the other side of the field that was stacked with WRs at the last second but Hyde was trying to wave him off. Miscommunication issue. They ended up with a TD on the drive.

Mike freaking Daniels is by far the best player on the defense so far this year. Tramon is next.

The thing with Sherrod and his hands I think goes back to one of his negatives on his draft stock that he isn't aggressive enough/doesn't get his punch in when blocking.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
