The point, Steve, is you were unaware of this. For being labeled a "plant" and "troll" I know what is going on with the Packers and follow them very closely. This kind of thing has happened, repeatedly, here...I state something and then someone who is unaware of what I'm talking about tries calling me on it, and then I have to prove to them what I'm talking about. Or, someone will state something that conflicts completely with known facts about the NFL or the Green Bay Packers. In your case, to save face, you now mock the source even though it's been reported on a reputable Packers website.

It wasn't a huge impact? Are you joking? Tell me what happened to Green Bay's offer? It went from 11 million to 8 million. I would say that is a HUGE impact. He lost nearly 30% of his original turned down offer.

If you show up to work on Monday and they tell you they want to pay you around 30% less than they were last week would you consider that not a huge loss? Surely, you would.

What I said is accurate and correct. Jennings was very much negatively impacted by his injuries. His earning power was heavily reduced. Randall may find the same thing already, due to last year, but even moreso if he suffers another injury this season and that would be very beneficial to the financial interests of the Green Bay Packers. To be clear, I'm not rooting for it or wish it to happen, rather I would look on the bright side should that situation occur.

Here's one that says the Packers offered Jennings 10m/year so who knows. The guy got paid big money in FA despite being injured 2 years in a row and so probably would Jordy were he to get injured. The whole point of this thing is that it's my opinion that the potential savings of having Jordy miss time next year are not worth the impact of missing Jordy next year. You don't share that opinion I guess so what ever. If you want to get sidetracked and argue about a bunch of stuff off the topic go ahead but you'll be doing it with yourself.

Hey, the sources being quoted are likely speaking to monies offered at different times. I don't know at what point the Packers supposedly offered 10 million.

His health especially given his age had to be a concern to those who wished to throw money at him. Minnesota is in a whole nother league as they seem to enjoy taking from us just to hurt us as much as they think it helps them.

No one knows when the offers were made or if they are even accurate, they are anonymous.

Also, I wasn't "calling you out" I was disagreeing with you and giving my opinion that I didn't think he was that damaged because he still ended up one of the highest paid WRs in the league. Then you take it super personally and start bringing me up in your responses to other people that have nothing to do with it and saying lame things like "you must not follow this team very closely". You say you come here to debate but you have this huge negativity toward the people you interact with around here. If you dislike everyone here so much maybe you should find somewhere else to talk football.

The "following the team closely" thing is something that I do honestly believe most avid fans of the Packers would know about thus realizing his injuries cost him dearly by not taking what he could've before they occurred which is the whole thing really when it comes to negotiations...do you want the security and take less than you want, or do you risk it and go for more. If he truly wanted 15 million and then went out and had a season where he was injured a bunch and didn't put up the big numbers he screwed himself. I have no doubt his sister's rants on twitter were all about the idea that he was losing money. She never showed up on twitter blasting Rodgers in any other year or time but the time he was playing for the big money...that is a year he surely wishes he would've stayed healthy and put up the season of his life. Didn't work out and it cost him...dearly. I'm not sure how that is an opinion type thing unless you come at it as if you don't believe the offers were legit and all that stuff is just made up. I can understand how you can turn this into an opinion only debate if you really wish to relegate things that were reported to the realm of pure speculation. I believe the reports to be true that he balked at a big money deal risked it and lost big causing his sister to go cuckoo on Twitter knowing her bro was blowing it so she took it out on Rodgers via twitter. That was really something. I was watching her go off live during the game. Couldn't wait for her next tweet.

I'm glad this shit did not drag out, but I have the sense that we just kicked the can down the road, just like our country does. Fortunately, the Packers and the NFL are far more successful than our country at the present time.

I sure would hate to negotiate with Ted Thompson, or play poker with him.

He doesn't blink, he doesn't sweat, doesn't play games in the media, he can out wait anyone.
I bet he has a titanium bladder.

Zero2Cool (5h) : beast, you're just one R from being voluptuous.
Zero2Cool (5h) : And now some Packers blogger is like Doubs to Steelers makes sense!!!!
Zero2Cool (5h) : You saw me Tweet???
beast (6h) : Supposedly Steelers will be trading WR George Pickens to the Cowboys for a 3rd and late round pick swap
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Ravens release Justin Tucker, err D. Watson Jr?
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Cardinals have signed TE Josiah Deguara.
Zero2Cool (5-May) : If I were to "Google" it, then I wouldn't read it in your words.
Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Matthew Golden spoke with Randall Cobb before draft. Looked like chance encounter.
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : from a head left turn?
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : someone drunk?
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Unlikely.
dfosterf (30-Apr) : How long until Jeff Sperbeck's family sues John Elway ?
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : Packers are exercising the fifth-year option on DT Devonte Wyatt, locking in a guaranteed $12.9M for the 2026 season.
beast (30-Apr) : Sounds like P Luke Elzinga has a rookie try out opportunity from the Titans
dfosterf (30-Apr) : Luke Elzinga Punter Oklahoma stil unsigned. Green Bay has been mentioned as good fit
beast (30-Apr) : The Packers re-signed three exclusive rights free agents WR Melton, P Whelan and RB Wilson.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : February 5, 2002 (age 23) ok no. packers.com is wrong
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Micah Robinson is only 19??
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : 6 first rounders on Packers defense now
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : LB Isaiah Simmons. Signed. Called it!!! Oh yeah!
Martha Careful (29-Apr) : ty bboystyle...fat fingers
bboystyle (29-Apr) : Tom*
Martha Careful (28-Apr) : RIP Packer Safety Tim Brown
beast (27-Apr) : Yeah, but also some of the wording suggestions Jax only pranked called the QB, not the others... and if he had an open spreadsheet & 3 calls
beast (27-Apr) : Thank goodness he's not leaving the Turtle in the Red Tide
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Cowboys 1st round pick Tyler Booker will indeed be bringing his pet turtle to Dallas with him
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : that contained all prospects info and contact
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : beast, according the Falcons statement Jax came across it on an ipad. If I had to guess, probably an open spread sheet or something
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Simmons put up an emoji with cheese.
beast (27-Apr) : Not sure anyone is interested in Isaiah Simmons... Collin Oliver might of taken his potential slot
beast (27-Apr) : I'm going with Jax Ulbrich is not telling the whole truth... he accidentally came across it? Why would a defensive coordinator have a QB #?
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : He's not that great, but final piece of the script.\
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : If we add Isaiah Simmons, book your Super Bowl tickets
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (27-Apr) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Shough is the guy who missed guys at combine isn't he?
beast (27-Apr) : It's not official until I'm dead! I have a chance still! (Not really)
