I dont like how everyone is a doctor now. People are diagnosing him from their couch or the press box. Not every big hit results in a concussion. I understand thinking like that when it happened. For the record, I did as well, but to bring up conspiracy theories a few days after is as reckless as that hit.

The only drop I remember was the laser dart that went through Quarless's hands. I believe the other pass to Quarless was a lousy throw, not a drop. Most of these throws were routine for Rodgers, but he was off on them. I admit, though, that he made some bad throws before the hit by Peppers. I hadn't heard about the shoulder issue, so that could explain it.

Bad pass? I guess you can say that but it was in his hands, he dropped it

Same drive a fast toss to Jennings right at the numbers

Thank you longtime for going back and spelling this out for everyone. Not only was he not terrible (as you said he had that laser to Jennings and two passes dropped) but it's such a small sample size that you can't possibly draw any good conclusions from it. It was five throws. People are jumping to conclusions with almost no evidence whatsoever.

This hit probably hurt like hell, especially because he bit his lip hard. Considering he got right back up and went back to work I don't think he got concussed. Also, he did not look like a guy with a concussion the way he was celebrating on the sideline too.

Not being sarcastic here, I'm just confused. What conspiracy theories do you mean?

In regards to people being a doctor, that's how we all are. People will say things like, "he was wobbly, so he was concussed." Or, "he wasn't wobbly, there's no way he got a concussion." That being said, I do agree that it is annoying, but it is what it is. It's going to happen.

Fans are fans. I could careless what they say. You hear everything from their point of view. I do think journalists speculating a few days after the game is reckless to some extent. In my view, it is witch hunting and an attempt to paint the Packer organization and maybe Aaron Rodgers to a lesser extent in bad light. I understand there is people out there that care, but waiting this many days to raise the question makes me wonder.

It doesn't matter whether or not Quarless "dropped" the pass. What matters is that it was a lousy throw, and that's a throw that Rodgers usually makes. If you think Rodgers played up to his usual standard after that big hit, then we'll have to agree to disagree. A relatively minor injury does not necessarily mean that every single throw is going to be bad. Often it's the consistency that suffers.

I agree, though, that Rodgers had some bad throws before that hit, so it's hard to pin his poor performance at the end of the game on the effects of that hit.

And what is the question that is being raised? I think that the only reason the journalists are talking is because they have two weeks to talk about one game. If that weren't the case, I doubt this would be such an issue.

And in fairness to the journalists, theyr were like Great Whites on a feeding frenzy yesterday with the Jay Cutler knee thing. Stupid as that was, that was the only thing they talked about yesterday. If it weren't for that, they'd probably be talking about that hit on Monday morning

They talked about it all day because they don't want to use up all of their material and subjects in one day, when it needs to last for 2 weeks.
