Can't say I really care. All I know is it's a "what have you done lately" league and the greatest QB ever is the one who had a good game yesterday. Not taking anything away from Rodgers but whoever has a great game this weekend will be in the talk of turning into the greatest QB in history

If Cutler wins this week (which god help us all if that happens) and has a great game, he will suddenly be in that conversation of best QB in the league.

Same with if Mark f'n Sanchez has a good game, he'll be talked about how he's so good under pressure and Mr. January (5-1 in playoffs in his first two seasons).

I don't know who's better. My main argument is that the eras in which they played made less of a difference than some like to contend. Had Favre played prior to the 1990s, I might have given that argument more credence, but Marino, for example, put up spectacular numbers in the 1980s.

As I said above, Favre's 19 TDs in his "second year" was 5th in the league. If Favre threw 19 TDs, in Rodgers "second year" (2009), then he wouldn't even be top 10, not top 15, he would be 19, behind Jason Campbell. Stuff like that must make some kind of difference when you compare Favre's second year to Rodger's second year?

Give up the Brett vs Aaron stuff, the more it's said the more IDIOTIC you all look.

Be fucking happy we had Brett for 16 years and now have Aaron, get the fuck over it. I'm sick of reading the same shit over and over again.

We were just talking stats, I thought we were having an interesting debate because it wasn't about Ted Thompson v. Favre or whatever, I guess you don't think so, lol.

To appease the gods, I will agree to disagree with you NSD.

I'm down for this stuff during the off season, we're in the NFC Championship game for the love of god, talk about THAT.

I'll unlock this after the Super Bowl.

Mucky Tundra (29m) : seems to me the 49ers should have traded Aiyuk when they had the chance
Mucky Tundra (29m) : if the Eagles get it down to the 1, do they Tush Push or give it to Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (29m) : 49ers have a money problem if they want to sign their QB
Mucky Tundra (31m) : Wait for real? Didn't he just get an extension two years ago?
Zero2Cool (33m) : 49ers gonna trade Deebo. Interesting
TheKanataThrilla (37m) : Replays always never seem to show the holdings
TheKanataThrilla (42m) : Great throw by Hurts
Mucky Tundra (48m) : Where Carter falls prey to bad off the field influences (to be clear, not saying he'd clip someone though)
Mucky Tundra (49m) : Had Carter not gone to Philly were they already had a lot of old college friends, he ends up in a similar spot to Aaron Hernandez
Mucky Tundra (51m) : I think some of his coaches told scouts to stay away
Mucky Tundra (51m) : the street racing incident+conditioning and motivation problems
beast (56m) : Then Carter was street racing, where the other car crashed and people died... and other teams were scared to pick Carter for some reason
beast (57m) : I think the Saints traded up, giving their next year 1st to the Eagles, and then they sucked and Eagles got the 10th overall pick
packerfanoutwest (1h) : wtf Barkley?
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : Getting Carter and Nolan Smith in the first round in 2023 was pretty darn good
Mucky Tundra (1h) : for some reason i'm thinking of a draft where the Eagles where in the mid 20s and a top player fell all the way to them
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : I think so. I would need to look it up. Think it may have been Carolina's pick.
Mucky Tundra (1h) : i'm not sure who i'm thinking of now
Mucky Tundra (1h) : oh fuck me i messed that up
Zero2Cool (1h) : Jordan Davis was 13th overall
Zero2Cool (1h) : Carter was 9th overall
Zero2Cool (1h) : Eagles had 15th and 10th selections, moved to 13 and 9 to get Davis and Carter back to back
Zero2Cool (1h) : Eagles traded up for Carter, didn't they?
Mucky Tundra (1h) : Obviously he was a huge risk but getting a top 5 talent on the dline in the mid 20s is fortuitous
Mucky Tundra (1h) : Jalen Carter falling into their lap certainly helps
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : And we could only wish to have this type of D
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : It's not like Philly has had low draft picks, but has managed to get themselves a top notch pass rush. We spend so much draft capital of D
packerfanoutwest (1h) : another crap halftime show
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : I think it is over, but then I think of Atlanta and want Philly to go in with the same intensity in the second half
Mucky Tundra (1h) : And with a Pass Rush that might as well be on a milk cartoon and no Jaire
Martha Careful (1h) : I cant help but feel good about how well the Packers D played in Philly during the playoffs
Mucky Tundra (1h) : this game is over
Mucky Tundra (1h) : This might be the kill shot here
Mucky Tundra (2h) : oh that's such a bad penalty for KC after getting the 3rd down stop
TheKanataThrilla (2h) : Philly DL has come to play
TheKanataThrilla (2h) : Ceoper DeJean with the INT scored...bad memories of draft night
Mucky Tundra (2h) : ok scratch that
Mucky Tundra (2h) : Game feels like last years Super Bowl: 49ers started off in control, moved the ball well but didn't have much of a lead to show for it
TheKanataThrilla (2h) : KC jumped and they call it on Eagles. WTF refs
TheKanataThrilla (2h) : If he was offside why did you let him pop the QB?
TheKanataThrilla (2h) : I like that Eagles are controlling time of possession so far.
Mucky Tundra (2h) : If the Eagles are going to win, this is how they do it: jump all over the Chiefs and don't let it turn into a close one
TheKanataThrilla (2h) : Bad throw created that penalty.
TheKanataThrilla (3h) : Amazed Philly got that hit to the helmet call.
packerfanoutwest (3h) : refs just called an OPI,,,bullshit
dhazer (3h) : final score Chefs 24 Eagles 21 Refs 3
Mucky Tundra (6h) : feels like it hurts everyone but starters
Mucky Tundra (6h) : *cut down on snaps that
Mucky Tundra (6h) : beast, no not at all. Just seems counterproductive to cut down on snaps to help back ups get playing time and get potential money after cuts
Zero2Cool (7h) : So, Jets tell Rodgers they're moving on? QB2 for Packers haha
