I'm with Dakota on the suspension issue. (Rock will point out that this means I'm also agreeing with Collinsworth. Oh well.)

It will be really interesting to see what kind of fine Peppers gets.

I was thinking he was woozy at best and possibly concussed. Aaron was missing throws he normally makes after that hit.

That's not how I read that, but I'm sure VR has some kind of stat that shows the inferiority of North Dakota education.

It's been a little quiet from our purple friends. I guess watching us go to the Super Bowl after they failed so miserably last year is just unbearable.

Concussion aren't a specific illness. There is a range of symptoms from severe (think vomiting, loss of consciousness, lingering effects) to minor (dizziness).

If you don't remember hitting your head, then it is a concussion. It's possibly that Rodgers got dizzy after the hit but was not concussed.

I honestly thought rodgers was hurt after that hit because he was slow to get up and he was spitting out a little blood. He did look a little dazed but im glad he hung in there. I agree with most of you guys that the league needs to start fining players even in the playoffs for hits like that. Peppers clearly went directly to the head launching himself illegally into Rodgers.

The hit occurred around the 11 mark of 4th q...

They had only 2 possessions after the hit

He tossed 5 passes after it

he completed 2 of them..one was a lazer dart toss on a slant..

Quarless had one go thru his hands on a 3rd down play on another slant

Quarless also dropped one that he had in his hands

So he should have went 4 of 5 after the hit??

He rushed his last pass and it hit the feet of I think Kuhn

That was the only pass I think he looked off at

But he was off after the hit??????????

Thank you for putting this together. I was reading all these posts and thinking..... he really didn't do too terrible after the hit. Also, I didn't see a "woozy" look in his eyes, or him being wobbly. I thought he performed at the same level as pre-hit, but those being thrown to made him look bad (stats) because they couldn't hold onto the ball. Sure, eh throw a pass at the feet of Kuhn, but he did that a few times before the hit too, one of them bouncing off of Driver's foot and being intercepted at the end of the first half.

I actually thought of the same thing after I read about him being 'fine' after the Peppers hit, and thinking how he suddenly sucked after that.

The only drop I remember was the laser dart that went through Quarless's hands. I believe the other pass to Quarless was a lousy throw, not a drop. Most of these throws were routine for Rodgers, but he was off on them. I admit, though, that he made some bad throws before the hit by Peppers. I hadn't heard about the shoulder issue, so that could explain it.
