The off-season madness has finally begun. Speculation about things that are absurd being talked about. Nolan will not replace Capers. Maybe as an addition to the staff, but Capers will be the defensive coordinator. Adding Nolan as a defensive consultant wouldn't hurt as long as he and Capers can work together though. That I could see. In fact, that I would like if they can co-exist.

That Nolan would be hired as nothing more than a defensive consultant is just as much as a stretch as him being hired by the Pack as a DC, if you ask me.
He'll have a job as a DC again soon enough. I'm pretty sure that he coached a 4-3 in NY, as well. There are at least 20 teams who could upgrade their DC position by hiring Nolan.
I think that he'll have a job again by next week. Not with the Packers, most likely, but he won't be unemployed for too long.
