I think there are a lot of OTs in 20-32.

Russell Okung - Top 5
Bryan Bulaga - 10-20
Charles Brown - 10-20
Bruce Campbell - 10-20

It might be possible to get Davis or Williams. I am not an expert in the draft but I do not know if they will be the answer or even available. The draft sites are all over the place.
Davis 1-2 round in one, 7th round or not listed on others.
Williams considered top 5/10 in a couple of sites and 3rd round in another.

One thing I know for sure. After this season, Clifton's done.

Breno is more built like a right tackle, but even then, I think Lang might be the future there.

The left tackle is probably not on the roster right now.

Our middle three seems to be fine and getting better. The tackles are old and declining, dont see how people can say there wont be OT's later in the draft there are a good 4 or so first rounders, i bet one falls, if not id be more than happy to pick spiller.

But i do know for sure giac is not the answer and may not even be on the team next year, i could see a young FA pick up and 2 OT in the first 4 rounds to solidify the line and maybe even keep cliffy and Taush in there for another year and see how these new guys can play.

Its time to say bye to barbre and giac there obviously terrible if they never suit up and if they have lang play pretty much every positon. Id like to see him stick with one and soon be the starter and have a good 3 man fight for a start on the opposite side of lang

This was a question and answer in Greg Bedard's post game chat. I think he makes a great point. If Giacomini doesn't contribute somewhere next year then he's been a complete waste. His roster spot could have been used to groom our LT of the future (Meredith or someone else).

A: Greg A. Bedard - If Giacomini isn't starting next season, it's a complete joke and he's been an utter waste of roster space the past two seasons. So he has to be the starter there. Lang might be able to get you through a season, but I expect Clifton to be back in some capacity. There's no way the Packers can draft a LT next year and him be the starter. It just doesn't happen unless the guy is a top-10 pick. I've been saying for months the Packers are screwed at left tackle for the foreseeable future. That's what I didn't get about cutting Jamon Meredith. They should have cut Giacomini and kept Meredith in the same space-sucking role. At least Meredith has a chance to be a left tackle with his athletic ability.

It is good to see someone else agrees. At 20-25, hopefully lower, in the draft we will not be getting a starter.

How do you guys explain Chad Clifton then? 2nd round pick, starter from day 1. Ross Verba came in and started as a rookie too.

It can happen, just not likely.

It all comes down to necessity. They both had to start because of injuries, if I'm correct. We actually might've found our RT of the future that same way this year in Lang.

Like you said, it's not very likely, though. For every Clifton and Tauscher, you get tons of Giacominis and Costons.

Ted will do everything in his power to attain the LT of the future this year, I trust him, and I pray it's Bulaga. We may have to trade up a bit to get him but it's worth it because the guy is ready to play RIGHT NOW. Think about this scenario...

We draft Bulaga and re-sign Spitz, Colledge, Tausch and Clifton...

LT- Clifton/Bulaga
LG- Colledge/Lang
C- Spitz/Wells/EDS
RG- Sitton/EDS/Lang
RT- Lang/Tauscher/Bulaga

Mix a FA and another Draft pick there and you got yourselves a fantastic Offensive Line in 2010. I'm really excited to see what we do to go our hands on a Franchise LT this offseason, still holding out hope for this guy...
