IT DOESN'T WORK CUZ THERE'S NO COMMITMENT TO IT!!!

That's my humble opinion, of course.

I was actually quite happy with what we did last week. I don't know why people are obsessed about establishing the running game when it's not working.

I know, I know, less blitzing, tiring the defense, etc. Fact is, though, that we come out running it on our first driver often enough and we just fail horribly, meaning that we trail by the 1st quarter and are forced to pass even more. Or stay with a struggling running game.

We're a WC offense, short passes should be able to pick up some of the slack from our running game. Just throw some more slants, drags, quick screens and stick routes.

Much like last week, really.

Let the passing game set up the passing game. And maybe the running game, when they do back off.

So how often do you want us to run the ball? Just go 3 and out way too often, just for the sake of commiting to it? We could commit to dropping 9 people into coverage as well.

I'm pretty sure that everyone would be complaining about McCarthy when we run it 40 times and just throw it 20, while averaging just 3.5 YPC. He'd be too stubborn.

Hey, 40 runs at 3.5 ypc is 140 yards a game! Awesome.

Oh, wait. Rodgers would be throwing for less than 150 yards a game. Damn. šŸ˜‰

How often? I'd be good with 4 - 6 a quarter.

Ryan Grant is not the problem. Give him the holes he had in 07 and he will start where he left off in 07.
