Im voting for all of them, dumping Kampmann is a no brainer, he is lost and worthless in the 3-4 but would still be a dominant DE in the 4-3 and that Jackson deal would be incredible, whens the last time we had a premier back???

Chris Long. Now that'd be an interesting trade. Although I think that he might struggle just as bad as Kampman.

Why is everyone so high on Jackson, though? Don't we have enough injury prone backs on our roster as it is? Really, with Jackson and Wynn constantly injured and trading away Grant for Jackson, we'll be stuck with no one pretty soon. Maybe we'll have to let a FB run the ball, like they where forced to in Denver.

I hope we either get Peppers / Jackson / Long or Merriman but let's be honest what are the chances. We've got T.T. at the helm that has a draft love.

When's the last time the Packers actually made a big trade that we actually got someone good? Was it Al Harris?

Ryan Grant. Although he exploded onto the scene here, so I don't think that that fits what you're going for.

The last decently big named guy we got was indeed Al Harris. Our 2nd for their 4th and Al. Pretty good trade if you ask me.

Before saying that he won't pull off any trades, though, look at last year. Even this article states it. We had a 3rd in for Gonzalez. The asking price for the entire season. In the last 10 minutes, though, they upped it to a 2nd. With Finley just drafted, I don't think that was worth it.

I don't think that he'd ever pull off a trade like the Jay Cutler one, but I think that he would do something like a 2nd for Merriman. Even though everyone knows that Ted Thompson never trades for players or trades up in the draft...

I hate Joe. He always gets me excited. But he kind of flopped a bit on his Kampman for Long trade. You can't say that the Rams are in rebuilding mode as to why they'd dump Steven Jackson due to his age, but yet they'd want Kampman who is in his late 20's, almost 30, right? So why would they want Kampman?

Anyhow, the Jackson idea got me stiff. I'd like him here. I just don't see us making any worthwhile trade. I seriously believe that the Packers staff over estimates their own talent and own ability to develop talent.

Merriman isnt showing much this year - looks like he used to be good and he is only appearing average so far. I hope the pack doesnt go for him.

Micheal Huff out of all those deals is the one I would like to see the most.. kid has a world of talent being pissed away currently.

Bush and Huff for a second and a lower pick.. I could live with that.. more Joe Thomas dreaming..

We wouldn't get Merriman for a 2nd if he was producing on a top level. I'd take the gamble and hope that he gets that explosive first step back sometime soon. It's not long ago that he went down with that horrible injury. Not in recovery time, that is. The only problem I have with him are character problems, but I think that our locker room will take care of that in a good way. There won't be a rift, either.

As to Pack93, I would like Huff here, as well. He actually appears to show some of that talent, which should up the price a little. I wouldn't mind taking the gamble, give them a 3rd/4th and get Huff on the team. Only problem is that this is a risky pick for a player who hasn't proven anything. I think I hear people calling Dhazer, DD80 and Dh already.

I'm not that sold on getting Bush. He's a good back, but I don't think he'd offer us a lot more, if anything, than Grant.

Rams can't trade SJax straight up for picks, cuase the cap penalty they'd pay for trading him would put them over the cap. I'm guessing that the same would apply for Long.
