The flopping around you mention is a classic sign of a femur fracture. The big muscles of the leg spasm after the fracture, causing the leg to shake uncontrollably. It's one of the things that makes femur fractures so excruciatingly painful. A traction splint pulls the jagged ends of the bone apart and helps stop the spasms, thereby reducing the pain.

That and the somersault he was in the middle of!

Interesting info though! I love factoids like that. Makes sense though. Trauma combined with the muscles being pushed/pulled/bent in a position they've never been in before.

Wouldn't that be awesome. I wonder how series hendersons injury is. Thats a big hit to the vikings d

How serious? Eesh... his lower leg was flopping around like a fish snagged out of a lake and thrown on the ground. It was awful. He's done for at least the season. Probably longer.

I'm glad I didn't see it, I'm quite the gash when it comes to things like that. I STILL haven't seen Thiesman's break.

OMG that was such a nasty injury. I felt so bad for the guy. I rewound a few times to re-watch it and all I could think is . . . "wow." Heck, the injury cart had to barely move off the field it was so bad. I've never really seen a cart move that slow off the field.

Definitely hope the guy will play again.

All the pack can do is win thier games, winning puts pressure on everyone to force the wins themself. Currently in WC2 spot and personally i would be happy with that. Getting to the playoffs is better then no playoffs

So win tonight to keep on par with the eagles and a game ahead of the hunt. Its the best we can hope for.

Im thinking Vikes vs Cards was a blip after the season taking its toll. But good for the Pack that they have sealed the division. Meaning the whole vikes will get banged up and not benching the starters to save them
