Yep, any trade for either of those guys won't happen until after the season. I think Long stays and Jackson indeed gets traded, most likely not to us though.

Funny how the guys considered for a trade were all options we had other than A.J. Hawk. When I look back, as bad as Hawk is... nobody else, including Michael Huff and Vernon Davis, have made much of an impact in their respective teams.

lol yeah that's been proven already. I don't think he has any real sources. I do know he's clever and creative and good at stirring up rumors. I hate his rumors sometimes because they can make so much sense that you start thinking yourself, wtf why isn't this happening?

I was hoping we'd have some kind of an insider (rumor) fella like that here. 55sandman is the closest we get and he comes around only once in a blue moon. I think he only wants to post on rumors he feels strongly about. He should make another name and just post every rumor he hears, lol.

So, with Clifton out yet again and looking like he might as well call it a career (I know, early conclusion for a very good pass blocker, but his body is just failing him), a trade for a tackle seems more likely than ever.

Still not that likely, but the odds are better than before. Especially if Clifton is done for another long period (Has the same ankle injury).

I'm still going with picking up some young, no name FA, but one can dream.

Wouldn't mind a T. We are going to need a backup regardless for Lang now. I don't want to hear more about trading Kampman. I would look towards maybe James Jones or something. That is at least a position we can afford to lose a player at.
