You ever seen a grow man seething red hot and spitting tacks.. my wife still hasn't said boo since about the 2nd quarter.. putting it mildly... I thought with the influx of spirits on the coaching staff that we wouldn't play a flat game.. yet here we are.. flat and busted for a September Sunday afternoon.. losing I can handle to a point.. getting pounded at the LOS.. it is utterly disappointing and draining.. I am too bought in I think..

My only solace.. the Bears are getting hammered on the LOS too...

I bet it felt good though telling off a couple ass-dicks. There really isn't much to talk about having your asses handed to you by the fricken bungles.

I have a real problem with McCarthey's play calling, case in point: 2nd and 2 run stuffed, then come back with the same bull shit call on third and two. Worst part is I told my brother excactly what the play would be. If a dumb shit like me can call that, I would certainly expect a highly paid DC to know what is coming.

The other thing is why call all the long pass plays when your QB is getting a beat down. It's just retarded. If the o-line is still playing this way after the bye week, I say shitcan Campen and Philben. These boys have been playing together long enough now not to look like dog shit.

Cheesey, what kind of ass-dick would scream at you?

They'll first have to go back and look at the tape to determine the pad level and fundamentals.

Funny, cause the Bears fans around here were crying that we would go 2-0 and I told em we have a tendency to lose to shit teams and beat good ones. God I hate being right sometimes.

You want to finish your career here?

When I saw the thread title, I thought it would be about some players' starting jobs being in jeopardy, not the coach and GM. I don't want to think about the coach and GM until somewhere near the end of the season.

As for the players, I thought Barbre was awful again. Colledge at left tackle was also a disaster. And the line as a whole was just putrid. It was a continuation of last week's game. But the poor play of the defense was the real shocker. It was downright Slowik-ian.

I think there was a letdown factor after the emotion of last week's win over the Bears. That's no excuse, but it could explain some of the flatness. I was encouraged that the Bears beat the Steelers today. It is a reminder that in the NFL the pendulum swings both ways. Now we need it to swing back the other way, and fast.

That's precisely why I stayed out of all the threads predicting routs this week. As far back as 1998, when the 10-0 Packers lost to the 0-10 Colts, I've noticed a disturbing tendency for this team to lose to the teams they really should beat. I'd love to be a fly on the wall during their pep talks and see what these guys are thinking before stepping on the field. They certainly seem underprepared for some opponents.

beast (13-May) : Well Jenkins probably knows he's not getting that 2026 salary number without a new contact... so just trying to get the new contact early
