When I saw the thread title, I thought it would be about some players' starting jobs being in jeopardy, not the coach and GM. I don't want to think about the coach and GM until somewhere near the end of the season.
As for the players, I thought Barbre was awful again. Colledge at left tackle was also a disaster. And the line as a whole was just putrid. It was a continuation of last week's game. But the poor play of the defense was the real shocker. It was downright Slowik-ian.
I think there was a letdown factor after the emotion of last week's win over the Bears. That's no excuse, but it could explain some of the flatness. I was encouraged that the Bears beat the Steelers today. It is a reminder that in the NFL the pendulum swings both ways. Now we need it to swing back the other way, and fast.
