Press Conference Video link

Always like to hear at least some analysis of the game from the opposing team's perspective.

Not wanting to rain on your parade Dave , (oh hell, yes I do). ::wink:

But it looks like the Buffalo Bills fan do not think much of Dick Jauron's "analytical skills" or pretty much anything about him.

And haven't for quite some time.

Here are just a few comments from last night and today......

He blows as a coach. Do us a favor and please resign Mr. Jauron. You have no business coaching an NFL team.

What a disaster this was. Once again Jaurons ultra-conservative approach killed this team

Anything is an improvement over Jauron!

Ugh, at least we will get a new coaching staff next year if we have another losing season.

I'd like to be able to throw a pie in Dick's face every time he says "we'll have to watch the film, get back to work and correct the mistakes." Trouble is, I can't afford that many pies.

Dick Jauron's lasting legacy might just be KILLING the confidence of young QBs with his ineptitude.

Well, I guess that one of Holmgren's understudies had to fail.

I recon that the Bengals fans feel the same way, though. Most likely, they're just blaming anything and everything. Can't make too much sensible comments on this, as I haven't seen the Bills play a whole lot, but still.

You should have gone back further VR. You know how fickle fans can be mood-wise. This just proves that the game incited "Fire Jauron!" threads, which is awesome.

Well MPF, this one goes back to December of last year. They were trying to raise money for a Billboard to get rid of Jauron and hire Cowher.
The Packers preseason win was just a little more salt in the wound

You are right about fickle fans however!

all I can say, dfosterf, is that lutefisk beats the heck out of Norwegian meatballs.

Heck...how can one not like it, atop a pile of potatoes and lefse (just another form of potato), smothered in tons of melted butter?

(been eating lutefisk for Christmas since I was about 14 and realized I couldn't stand the thought of another meatball, the only other "meat" at the Christmas table in our family.)

Okay, the butter's probably not good for you. But that's a quibble, since who's going to give up butter?
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

bozz - dyed in the wool lutefisk eater. every christmas. there are about 6-8 items on the menu every year, and they're all a shade of white....

on to more important matters. i don't see why everyone is calling for jauron's head. Did he fumble the ball? Did he throw those INTs? Did he get blown off the offensive AND defensive line? The Bills' performance last night wasn't about a bad scheme, or bad play-calling, or bad clock management, or anything like that. nah, that ass-whoopin is on the bills' player's shoulders, not the coach's. It was the players who got their asses handed to them. The Packers looked like they were playing the GBHS JV team last night. way to go, Packers!

I cannot enter the debate as to the relative desirability of that delicacy contrasted with others, as I have never had the courage to get close enough to it to know what it smells like, much less tastes like.

I do, however, have a certain amount of expertise when discussing other qualities and effects lutefisk might have or possess. You see, I presently live within about 10 miles of Three Mile Island, of "Three Mile Island" fame, and have duly noted that those present here back in (?Was it '79?) are not quite right in the head. The universal theory is invariably lumped into one big generalization with a knowing nod between the cognoscenti and the simple statement, "Toxic Waste" when two normal people witness the way one of these vets of that incident roll through life...Don't get confused though, their conversation just went nuclear.

I have a very similar theory as regards our Minnesota Norse friends.

I believe the literal translation of lutefisk is "Cod soaked in plutonium".

Now to me that explains a hell of a lot, your intrepretation might vary.

To be fair, I recall being warned not to engage in a certain activity or "I would go blind" ...Of course I ignored this advice, at least until I needed a very heavy prescription, and thank God for Lasik. All in total jest, btw.
