Since Aaron Rodgers announced on Instagram/Twitter he has been medically cleared to play, there have been a plethora of thoughts. Most of us are excited for what could come and some are excited he's healthy but want to save him for next season. The latter mentality proves how we take reaching the playoffs for granted.
We don't know what next season will bring us. We could suffer even more injuries next season, we could lose Davante Adams, Morgan Burnett and Corey Linsley to free agency. Maybe the running game surge we've seen over last six games doesn't translate into success in 2018?
Point is, 2018 is full of unknowns.
As for 2017, we know we have three games left and if we win those three wins, it gets us to that 10 win total that Coach McCarthy believes you need before thinking about playoffs. The link posted below says winning those three games gives Packers a 93% chance of making the playoffs.
What team wants to face Aaron Rodgers with a running game and you damn well know Aaron has a chip on his shoulder. We also have seen a nice uptick in production from Clay Matthews and we get (assuming) Nick Perry back this week too. Damarious Randall has also stepped up his game.
And hey, if Vikings lose all three and Packers win all three, Packers win the Division!
