All this talk of benching Rodgers because we can't/probably can't win reminds me what my mother does if the Packers are getting blown out - she'll say "Why do they even keep playing?!". My response is basically my dad's to my mom - a frustrated/sarcastic "Yeah, why don't we all just go home."

Rodgers is 100% healed. Why do I know this? Imagine if Rodgers DOES get hurt again and it comes out that he WASN'T fully healed. Lawsuits, pitchforks and torches, and a lot of firings. If you're willing to keep a 100% healed Rodgers benched because you're afraid he will suffer an injury just because we're out of playoff contention - we might as well just forfeit because we don't need anybody else getting hurt either. If we're in a game and it's out of hand (either for or against us) and it's the 4th quarter? Sure.

You play to WIN.
Rodgers, as I see it, is proving himself as a true leader by putting aside his own self and being willing to go out and give us a shot.
You think the other guys in the locker room don't see that?
It could influence not just this season, but future seasons, and maybe even free agents out there that see his willingness to put it all out there for the team.

Aaron cares IMMENSELY about his life after football.

Besides, Mike and Ted need their meal ticket for employment for many more years to come so they wouldn't risk the man for that.

I don't disagree with this.
