Which includes most of the CBs and using a S in the slot DB role as well.

A Slot DB instead of 3 down Defensive linemen ? I don't think so . With Guion in trouble, AGAIN , I believe that GB will either promote a player to starting Nose Tackle or acquire a Free Agent . In addition, Gunter will never beat out Kevin King or even D. Randall for a starting DB spot .
As for your Defensive Coaching strategy, you may want to send your recommendations to Coach Capers. His 44 years of coaching experience might could utilize your advice. You can maybe teach him the differences between the 3-4 and the 4-3 and the 4-2 Defenses and which ones he should use.
2nd - Daniels is a lock for the D-line, Clark may lead at present for NT , but he will have to still compete for it at TC . The 3rd DL position , IMO , will be openly competed for in TC. . Several candidates come to mind including Lowry for GB's 3-4 Defense .
You questioned who Clark would compete with for the NT spot , I believe I already addressed that point. In addition it is not unusual for Defensive Linemen to change their position on the line. Rickey Jean Francois is , IMO , one of those capable of making the move. Also don't discount Montravius Adams , the 6-4 /305 (R) DT from Auburn U. , he is a future Star in my opinion.
Guion, Letroy – NT Clark, Kenny – DT/NTPrice, Brian – DT/NTJean Francois, Ricky – DT/NT/DELowry, Dean – DE/DTDaniels, Mike – DT Ringo, Christian – DTAdams, Montravius – DT/*RookieLunsford, Izaah – *Rookie
