Everyone seems to be coming to the same point - which was one of my main points - is that either Ted fails to draft good players or Mike fails to make good players. Or, the alternative that no one likes, that maybe other teams that also have professionals who understand football very well and understand good talent... but happen to have higher draft picks.

For example Seattle has been to back-to-back Super Bowls and looks like a far better team than GB in 2015.
At QB, Wilson was taken in round 3. At WR, Baldwin & Kearse were UNDRAFTED free agents. Rookie sensation Tyler Lockett was taken in round 3 (making 2nd round, 2nd year WR Davante Adams' struggles look even worse).
At TE, Jimmy Graham was obtained via a trade, just like Marshawn Lynch was (trades for players do not occur in Green Bay anymore).
There is just 1 first round pick on the OLine, Russell Okung.
On D, Safety Earl Thomas is the Seahawks only #1 pick (14th overall, that is lower than B.J. Raji).
Sherman & Chancellor are both 5th round picks (wow, just wow), and LBs Bobby Wagner & KJ Wright are 2nd and 4th rounders, respectively.
The DEs are great, Michael Bennett & Cliff Avril. They were free agent acquisitions and we all know how free agency is frowned upon under TT. At tackle, the Seahawks have no high picks.
Pretty clear that Seahawks GM John Schneider learned from his mentor Ron Wolf to utilize trades and veteran free agency
as well as the draft to build his roster.
