Preseason football.
Regular season football.
Post season football.

Some of you need to figure out how to separate the 3,

Preseason is for players to show what they have, make the cut,and make a 63 man roster.

Regular season, 32 teams playing 16 games to make the cut of 12.

I don't give a damn who did what the last 17 weeks.

THE 12 TEAMS WHO MADE THE CUT ARE ALL 0-0!!

Since there seems to be this conspiracy theory rolling around here that Aaron is purposely throwing games, I'm gonna start my own and say that Mike told him to do it so they could go to Washington.

Total bullshit?
Yes
Not anymore ridiculous than accusing Aaron of purposely doing it.

All I know is come Sunday , I'll be watching and chearing for The Packers to go 1-0 !
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

My post was in response to one about team's doing better than the Packers because they had higher picks and I merely pointed out that was not the case when it came to the Seahawks.

Seahawks did more with more, there's no real denying that and they did more with their later round picks too. But to say they didn't benefit from having higher round selections is not true.

2010
T Russell Okung (6th overall)
S Earl Thomas (14th overall)
S Kam Chancellor (133rd overall)

2011

2012

LB Bobby Wagner (47th overall)
QB Russell Wilson (75th overall)
WR Jermaine Kearse
CB Jeremy Lane

The defense has improved. It is still average-to-below-average in the middle of the field.

The offense? Injuries, sminjuries. This offense was nowhere near as good as people think it was before the injuries. McCarthy hasn't been the "offensive innovator" for years. Rodgers playing at an all-world level covered up shortcomings of the OL, the WR, the TE, and the coaching. The fresh body of Eddie Lacy covered up other shortcomings of the OL and the TE.

Now we have Rodgers coming down to earth (and below). Now we have Lacy, like the last great Packer-power-back-behind-a-weak-line, John Brockington, showing the cumulative effect of the pounding he took in earlier years, and on top of it adding weight.

And the offense is shown to be what it is. A team that can't do what it takes to win at home against any division team.

Go ahead and think that a healthy Jordy Nelson and a healthy Baktiari and a healthy Bulaga would have made the difference.

An all-world offense and this defense would probably have been good enough. But this is not an all-world offense. It hasn't been for years.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
