Yep. If it were wrestling, which it kind of is, that means Jones won that rep.

The RB had to re route because his RT hit him 1 yard after he took a hand off. Even if Jones ended up on his back in that same spot he still won because he blew up the running lane.

And honestly it looks like basic wrestling... the Raiders OL tried an upper body throw and Jones controlled his momentum to hang back while the OL didn't control his momentum which got him out of control and Jones used the OL momentum to knock him off balance... it's basically fat man (or heavyweight if you want to be PC) wrestling 101 and it's pretty clear that's what happened.

Wow...just wow. The Raider OL CLEARLY turned him to throw him down and did and Datone flipped him over on contact with the ground. I'm never ceased to be amazed at the way people view things.

I love the Packers, but I can CLEARLY see what happened there. Yes, Datone ended up on top of him. What happened is the equivalent of a guy landing on top of a guy in a hockey fight after he got whupped. Landing on top of someone doesn't mean you won. The Raider OL beat Datone on that one and Datone landed on top.

His job as an Offensive Lineman is to go forward. He went backwards. Regardless of who flipped who, one guy went forward and another went backward. If he is on the ground and on his back, he is taken out of the play regardless of who anyone here thinks won.

I can CLEARLY see what happened there.

As a former linemen and heavyweight wrestler I can clearly say the OL tried a throw and failed to finish it as Jones kept his balance, controlled his momentum, pumped his brakes, use a counter by his left arm to push/pull the OL keeping the OL momentum going, which knocks him off balance (because he didn't keep moving his feet) and Jones clearly squares back-up moving back into his gap...

Clearly the OL half knocked Jones out of his gap but Jones regained control got back into his gap and finished the play. There is no question about it, if that happened in one on one the win would clearly go to the DL on that. It was a good attempted and he seemed to catch Jones off guard but clearly if you watch it closely Jones recovered from it with out going to the ground.
