I love watching him play, but I would have him rather ended his career last season instead of like this. Last season he went out 'on top' as he said because he proved to everyone he still could do it.

His overall play this season indicate he his age might have caught up with him.

Yes. It would have been best for everyone if Favre had stayed retired. I think the only true benefactor out of all of this was the Dolphins and Pennington.

Age eventually catches up with everybody. It caught Brett at about week 12 of this season.

Yes he shouldn't have come back just like he shouldn't have thrown that INT in the giants game. Seems like this guy keeps on making bad decisions througout his career, in game and out of game decisions that is lool.

Glad To Be A Packers Fan.

I voted "YES" by mistake.

Count me as a NO.

The reasons.

1. He wanted to come back. He earned the right, just not with the Packers.
2. He created employement for people who sew NFL Jerseys.
3. Packers got a 3rd rounder for him.
4. His girls got to go shopping and visit New York.
5. He saved the career of Chad Pennington, an over all nice guy.
6. Jet Fans... They deserved this, the way they treated Pennington.
7. Deanna got to do a prime time T.V. Interview.
8. He got paid Millions.
9. He got paid Millions

And number 10....

I voted yes, just because I was pissed from the very first I heard he was flirting with unretiring. I was fairly confident he wouldn't live up to the miracle season of last year and he'd just look pathetic.

But I have to admit, RaiderPride's list is pretty persuasive. 😃

I voted yes. The problem was that it wasn't so much that he had to play another year, it was that he couldn't NOT play another year. In other words, it was more about avoiding retirement than playing football. He came back for a negative reason rather than a positive one. So maybe it was doomed from the start.
