I don't know Smokey. I sent Mark Murphy my application and left several messages on his voicemail but he never called me back. I guess he was not as impressed with my knowledge as you are. I only wish I had known you thought so highly of me. I would have put you down as a reference. I'm sure you would have given me a glowing one and it probably would have tipped the scales in my favor. I'm going to send an amended resume remedying that situation just in case Brian blows this draft and takes anyone but a monster edge rusher with the first pick. If that happens maybe Mark will see the error in his judgement and call me to help salvage the rest of the draft.

I appreciate your support, truly I do but quite frankly I'm a bit embarrassed. I would certainly not say I know more than anyone else as I can think of at least three maybe even four people who know more than I do but again I appreciate your faith in my abilities to run this team. While I certainly hope Brian succeeds beyond our wildest dreams and my services will not be needed for many years to come just knowing you are in my corner makes me confident that my time will come.

Oh and one more thing, it's "when you're famous", not "when your famous"
