It seems to me that the Packers have kept 8, maybe 9, maybe even 10 O Linemen in the past. I doubt they limit it to seven this year. Who will be #6 can't be answered, of course, until it is known who is #5.
If there is indeed a sixth man like in basketball, it has to be somebody flexible. Barclay seems to fit that description. In a perfect scenario, Sherrod starts and flourishes at RT, but that is a pretty shaky assumption at this point. I think they find a way to keep Sitton, Bulaga, EDS, Lang, Sherrod, Newhouse, Barclay, Bakhtiari, Lewis, and Tretter. Yeah, I know that's ten names. But between IR, PUP, practice squad, and active roster, I think they all stay around.
