Is this really something bad? I mean, it is widely accepted that QB is the most important position on the football field. 🙂 (Shawn you know you love it!)

I think it's the job of football staff to do everything possible to upgrade their talent. Just. Saying!!

Screw that... it is definitely the most overrated position upon the field without a doubt. There are a few players every decade that can truly make a difference at the position over the field.. but the same is true for ever other position upon the team.

They are glory hounds that get showered with way more credit (and blame) than really due them as a whole, but I will say this, a blue chip QB does expand the potential of an offensive production two fold over an average player at the position.

Just most of them.. let the whitewashing go to their head early, making them think they are something special.

Fucking candy asses. [duh] ;)

Why do I have a feeling that this isn't going to work out the way either Denver or New York hoped? But hey, considering Tebow beat the Jets last year, maybe this will help them pick up an extra victory this season.

But what a career trajectory: Get picked in the first round of the NFL draft in 2010. Win a playoff game in 2012. Get traded for a 4th-round pick a few months later.

Tebow.. what really is the risk in a 4th rounder for him. The $$$ returned on that deal in marketing and whatnot in that market is going to offset the salary costs.. and on the field, it tightens the pressure upon Sanchez to stop the clubbing, focus on football and become the QB he has the talent to be. Either that or get out.

Didn't the Jets give a 3rd rounder for Brett Favre?

As for the Jets, I just think this is going to create such a media circus and such a fan uproar. I have always been an outspoken critic of Mark Sanchez. He hasn't exactly been an elite quarterback even when he was the man in New York. Now bring on all the pressure that will accompany Tebow's arrival -- particularly the fans clamoring for his replacement if he has a couple of bad games -- and I can't imagine him doing anything other than wilting.
