Regardless of the generation in which we speak, it is clear the a 100 or even a couple hundred can't make a country successful. And that is where we as a society are missing the point.
We can't count on a "few" to drive the ship.. we collectively as a nation better start stepping up, pulling together and rebuilding a strong nation.
IMO, we all, from generation to generation have our flaws and faults. So freaking what.. it is what the hell it is. Pointing fingers like those in Washington isn't going to get the job of rebuilding this nation done.
One of the major flaws in our society today is we have no clear vision of where we need to go as a country. Hell we can't even agree where we are.. Conservatives vs Liberals.. Dems vs Republicans.. class vs class.. and yes.. Generation vs Generation.. it doesn't freaking stop.
One clear thing.. as we continue to become more and more divided the weaker and weaker we get as a nation.
Watching the news.. peaking in on the campaign trail.. even listening to the coffer clutchers on the corner of main street America.. we can't be more diverse in our opinions and further away from solving what ails us.
We don't need any help from the outside to become a fractured nation.. we are doing that all by ourselves. Rapidly I may add.
Hell.. I am as guilty as all get out.. for decades I put football and sports well ahead of truly being aware of the nation around me. And to be honest.. it was far easier to run through life with those blinders on.
