Shep Smith's show is pretty fair. Actually, I find him to be one of the better anchors on TV.

Apparently some guy posed as David Koch to get a phone conversation with Scott Walker. It sounds pretty real.

They are. The unions conceeded all of the budget requests proposed by Walker and public education is about to be ram-rodded with another ~ billion dollars in reduced funding on Tuesday. So there you go, Merry Christmas, out-of-state businesses and Walker's buddies get tax breaks at the expense of public education and services.

I still don't know what the hell abolishing unions that were inconvenient to Walker's political campaign in 2010 have to do with the budget, though.

dh, you have to understand that this is the culmination of a long smear campaign against unions. People have lost sight of the fact that all of us workers benefit from past union victories, and that it is vital that middle class workers have a voice that actually matters. I mean, you've shared some of the facts about public sector union workers (lower wages, higher qualified, etc.), but people still spew the anecdotal (if best) rhetoric about lazy, pampered union workers demanding free viagra.

People have lost sight of the fact that all of us workers benefit from past union victories, and that it is vital that middle class workers have a voice that actually matters. I mean, you've shared some of the facts about public sector union workers (lower wages, higher qualified, etc.), but people still spew the anecdotal (if best) rhetoric about lazy, pampered union workers demanding free viagra.
