I've been a proponent of moving Barnett outside for a few years now but with this signing I see him playing in Buffalo.
We will still have a badass linebacker corps.

I think that Hawk will gladly re-work his deal.

In my opinion, Hawk has earned a good salary over the next couple of years with his play this season. Best bet would be to spread it out over a few years with the security of a long term deal. With Barnett gone, this should be more possible.

am I bad for saying this? 😉 ... but its funny that at the beginning of the season many of you guys were suggesting we trade bishop away and how he wasnt that good.

Judging from that list, we can lose a few free agents, but the guys available off of other teams are interesting candidates for replacement. Granted, Ted Thompson will never sign anybody, but hey, with a new collective bargaining agreement--who knows?
